I think there must be life somewhere else, but as for it ever visiting Earth, pfft I soo doubt that. On the comment about our military, well really one of the major reasons for space travel, visiting other planets, is because we are running out of room on Earth and even more in regards to resources. Why do you think people are so focused on Mars and the exploration of other planets, sure there is that exploration thrill, but the government doesn't care about that, right? I may be a bit biased at the moment, I saw "War of the Worlds" recently and in that movie the "aliens" are invading to take our resources, which include blood (in the movie *rolls eyes*). Humans are unique in there disregard for nature and other species. Take for instance in the movie "The Matrix" Mr. Smith says to Morpheus that humans are like viruses, rather then staying contained, they spread. I took Model United Nations (MUN) in high school, I studied and made speeches on all kinds of global issues and found that the root cause of all them is overpopulation. Quite frankly, we reproduce way to much, really the only thing that could be done would be to stop having sex, but people "can't help themselves". I think its obvious who is to blame. Everyone that "can't help themselves". pfft. That was a bit of a tangent but so is every rant I ever have; it all relates though. Why are we exploring? For more resources. Why do we need more resources? Overpopulation. Why? Keep asking questions all day and you still won't get anywhere. Is there life elsewhere? Probably. Are they anything like us? You'd hope they aren't; or else it will be a war, either them or us, right? We gotta learn to share. But I don't see that happening...

Tutorial: Block pop-ups

Block Pop-Ups Tutorial

Ok this has been a problem for all of us, until now, there are many easy ways to eliminate this menace and I've decided to write a tutorial to help everyone out in the extermination of those annoying "pop-up" windows. Additionally you must keep in mind that many of theses so called "pop-up blockers" are full of spyware (see spyware removal) so you should only trust legitimate sources such as Yahoo and Google.

1.) Download Mozilla/Firefox they include a pop-up blocker

2.) If you use Internet Explorer, download the Google toolbar (http://www.toolbar.google.com) which not only is useful to quickly access Google, but its build in pop-up blocker is wonderful. The only disadvantage to this toolbar is that the pop-up blocker is only compatible with Internet Explorer 5.5 and up

3.) Yahoo offers a similar toolbar (http://www.companion.yahoo.com) .

Rant: Spam

I just received a few of a new type of spam, a new instant message spam that differs from older types such as IMs sent by "aim bots", which are software programs that run on spammers' computers that are able to manipulate AIM in ways desired by the spammer such as flooding chat rooms or sending IMs to random screen names; this new form utilizes these "aim bots", but now however uses them to sent chat invitations to unwary instant message users.

Rant: Chain letters

This is definitely a rant I'll continue to update. Chain letters I suppose they started out in the mail or other more primitive ways years ago and now they are in emails and newly instant messages. Chain letters typically come in 2 "flavors" ones that claim to give you joy and ones that threaten to kill or bring sadness to you and are know being more frequently a mix of the two. Chain letters typically ask you to send it out to other people, usually about 10 people; chain letters work because 1. people are superstitious by nature 2. The more people that send it out, it keeps growing, and it is near impossible to trace back to the original author. The only way to "stop" a chain letter is for everyone to not send it out, in the mail this works out as people do not wish to spend money on postage, however on the internet it has become more prevalent just as spam has do the fact it doesn't cost the general public anything except the annoyance, for ISPs and such, as it it a great problem as a form of spam and floods their servers. For me chain letters are annoying because I try to not be superstitious as well as it is stupid, however that doesn't keep it from getting to me, as in the ones saying if you pass this on to 10 people your crush will fall in love with you bullshit or the sad ones about someone that has died. For me I can typically easily eliminate chain letters from my inbox without reading them, which helps keep any of that compassion shit away, however the new instant message chain letter trend is a serious problem, and unless there was a real-time filtering system which could eliminate messages with phrases such as send this to 20 people by midnight (of which I find funny because I often do not have 20 people to send it to *rolls eyes*)

Rant: Love

Love...what a wonderful thing huh? isn't that what everyone says? We'll guess what, I'm gonna rant about the negativities of "love"

"Love: n. A strong positive emotion of regard and affection" uhuh....well you see although I've haven't much experience at this game I've gained much of my knowledge seeing my friends relationships go from bad to worse to over and depressed. It really is a "fucked up" feeling and emotion (pardon the language as I don't mean that in a literal meaning, you see as human nature, the people that came up with English and all the other godforsaken languages [once more I do not mean that in a religious way...hmm...I don't think I've had a rant on the stupidity of religion yet, alas I'll save that for another day] have many MANY references to sex...you know sexual intercourse, that profound, annoying human desire that is the cause of our overpopulation problem.) Anyhow, love, to some love just means sex, others its a romantic affair, but to me its bluntly pain, for my own experiences I'll I've had are broken-hearts, you "fall in love" being attracted to other humans, through chemicals I supposed but many will argue it isn't so black and white but I couldn't say myself. And then of course when I get rejected my "heart" just falls for another girl. Simple human nature I suppose, in "animals" I suppose, the reason for "love" is clear, for sex, for reproduction, cause we just want to keep this damn cycle going for as long as we possibly can, through thick and through. As for my friends, a variety of reasons seem to have broken them up, but after going through tons and tons of data, I conclude the primarily, stupid and "immature" human instinct makes them fall in love with other people after "getting what they want" or 'succeeding" or whatever they may get out of their relationship (I would hope it wouldn't be sex, as they are what I consider underage for such things, however I couldn't say whether or not any one of them is a "virgin", although it does seems that ridiculously its something like 1 in 5 have had sex at my school, or so its seems, to their brags, claims, etc. which I am forced to hear due to the fact I can't tune it out (once again a disadvantage of being a multitasker and being able to simultaneously hear many people speak and so forth) Love is stupid and I hate it.

Marriage

Marriage...stupid stupid...stupid...for my first reference my parents (in this situation I refer to my birth parents) Ok so my "birth" parents are divorced...I live with my mother (and she is annoying nagging pest) and I used to have "visitation" with my father but I broke that off starting at 7th grade because he was a jerk, bad influence, couldn't take care off me, etc. etc. bad parent to summarize. Anyway enough history, their marriage obviously didn't work, they got they divorce final when I was 2yrs. old...Now onto my mother and step-father well they bicker and don't believe they truly love each so much...whatever...I'm tired at the moment and I started like 4 rants today so I'll upload what I have and finish at a later time.

Rant: Dissection and being a vegetarian

Ok nonetheless, whether or not I feel there is no point in life I go up and down like any ignorant and brain-dead human being. We are no different from out "animal brothers" (figurative language ppl so sue me [NO not literally!]). Ok so my biology teacher was going over what we will be covering this semester and I almost vomited (probably would have had she gone into detail) of dissecting squid and fetal pigs. Ok the that will be agenda #1 of this rant:

What the hell is wrong with people!? have they no compassion towards other living beings!? They gorge themselves on meat, how can they, don't they realize where that comes from? In order to eat that meat, pigs, horses, cows, fish, and other animals are killed! MURDERED! all to get on their plates. WTF!? How would they feel if it was human? are they cannibals, sure cows and pigs are animals, but hey WE ARE ANIMALS TOO! they are mammals just like us, they are intelligent if if we don't act like they are, we are all sharing this planet! and I couldn't easily put in tons of ,quotes out of books, poems, movies, and such describing us as horrible "dieses" (

There is no good on this planet, its hopeless, when you think about it first everything we do, think, and shit had to do with sex, i hate it, i hate it, i hate!! its bullshit, there is NO point in living. its a load of crap, but then again i cant even curse or anything without it having a sexual meaning, seriously what the hell is up with that!? (thats the one thing i can say, but that deals with religion, and seriosuly when you die, you die, scientifically speaking, you die, and you start decompossing, everything that make you, you, your memories are made of chemicals which disingrate, i hope i havent affected too many people with this post, because life is really sad and pointless, and the more you know, the more hopeless it becomes and you wish you didnt know it, because ignorance is bliss. i think i have thoroughly insulted everyone, and therefore will have no friends anymore, and i will soon have mobs of people chasing me with fire trying to burn me, accusing me of being a "heretic"....cruel world...and everytime i speak i die more...and lose anything i had left..."
